SoB Member’s ID program This is a SoB service provided to help you to quickly learn who the members are and consists of a photo ID and Bio-sketch for each SOB member.
Let the show begin. The opening Page # 1 lists members names. If you click on a name it will go to that person’s bio sketch & photo. For larger viewing go to the full screen viewing mode. There are 2 possibilities. 1- use the “Slide Show” mode (bottom right menu) or 2 - toggle your browser’s full screen view command, usually F-11 and to make even bigger, turn off the “Outline “ mode - (mouse click outline, bottom right menu.) Member ID Instruction You have 2 unlisted key strokes to help you here. 1. The Escape button will end the slide show (when in Slide Show mode) and return you to the beginning (Home Page mode). 2. If held down the Space-bar will RAPID advance you through the show (most OS systems) or can be used to advance one page at a time by a single press and release. Your mouse will also advance one page at a time by clicking anywhere on the screen. (The space-bar will perform similarly in the Home mode, but is less reliable.) 3. In the “Slide Show” mode the pages advance automatically every 10 seconds. If not finished viewing, click on “previous page” (menu at bottom of page) to go back. 4. In the home page mode you have to manually advance the pages forward or backwards (bottom menu middle button) and the page stays on the screen until you manually move to the next or previous page. The default screen is a smaller view. To get a larger view in the home page mode, use the full Screen command– usually F11, but may be something else with your browser. (see full Screen viewing.) 5. The home page (page 1) lists the members by name and team age. Mouse click on a name to review that person. (If you miss the name and hit the page, it will advance one page only. Go back and try again.)
Home Page Bottom Menu – 3 control buttons - menu bar across bottom of screen.
Other commands To get the largest view in the home page mode use the full screen viewing toggle button – usually F11 and toggle off the “Outline” plane. Slide Show Mode. 2. When in Slide Show mode (also a full screen view) you can end the show by pressing the Escape button. 3. To advance a slide forward you can use the menu, Space-bar or a mouse click on the screen. 4. In Slide Show mode, the pages advance every 10 sec. If you wish to view a page for a longer time, click on the Previous Page (bottom) menu to go back for review. Other Menu There is also a small menu available by clicking the right mouse button. If you have a wheel mouse you can experiment to see if your wheel will move the pages forward or backwards (operating system dependent).
Possible problems: 1. If the mouse cursor disappears from view, circle it slowly on the screen until it reappears. 2. There are dissolves on transit from one page to the next. If your computer is sluggish handling this, let me know and we will drop them. They are left over from the CD slide show and we don’t actually need them for the website. 3. Please report any broken links or problems you come across.
