2nd place champs. On Sunday we came from behind to win over the Tottenham 50s in the semi and lost to the Lift-Kings 55 by 7 in the final. (There is no shame losing to that powerhouse team.)
Please meet some impressive couples and new Beaches for the 2005 season. On our left we have Hal & Janet Ridley and on the right we have Cheryl & Greg McDonald. Cheryl has been doing a great job of keeping score for us over the last few tournaments and Greg always turns in a great card on the field, at bat, with input and team spirit.
Pitcher-1st baseman Hal got the big applause and back slap of the day. With the bases loaded he smoked the left fielder and drove in the winning run to give us the semi-final victory.
