Back - Wayne (Boots) Crowley  - Pete Hansoki - Mike Phillips - Larry Taylor - Brian Vale - Gary Getz

Front row - Mike Lyons - Bob Stevens - Gord Dunham - Norm Noble - Jack Whitfield - Brian Stubbs

Not Shown - Jack Dickey, This was the 2nd annual Can-Am Slo-pitch tournament and the last year for Niagara Falls games, as the optimist complex has given away to development. In 2006 slo-pitch will move to the nearby area of Chippewa.

One of the highlight for our Niagara visits is Luncheon at Simons' restaurant. It is a fitting place for a 50s team to go as it is a throw back to the early 50s and remains virtually unchanged for all these years including the menu; even the pricing hasn't budge that much.

This place reminds me of our Florida R-Bar visits and is on the Sob list as a "must to do" when in Niagara Falls.

Picture here (left to right) is Mike Lyons and Norm Noble front, with the waitress and proprietor Rose Simon on the right in the background.

Niagara's oldest restaurant - Simons at 4116 Bridge St, Niagara Falls, On, L2G 4C8

Of the many nick knacks that are spread throughout the restaurant are: old newspapers with historical Falls events, models of Christmas home (Pat Simon's hobby), car license plates, cups, and spoons sets. You order by number from the menu and there has been a recent menu price increase, check these menus out and see if they meet your approval!
