Sunday League Wrap Up and surprise Birthday Party
The 2nd place Red team joined in with the 1st place SoB Sunday league champs for a year end banquet party at the Victoria Albert Pub, that was combined with Gord Dunham's 60 yr surprise Birthday celebration. In addition to the team members about 15 of Gord Dunham's old friends arrived giving us a group of about 40 people.

Each SoB league player received an 8.5" x 11" photo of the 2005 team and other 2005 pictures were passed around and shared with the group.
Gord Dunham was totally taken in by the birthday surprise and at first couldn't figure how come people he hadn't seen for years somehow had manage to drop into the pub. The penny dropped when he was presented with the cake and birthday presents. Wife Peggy and cousin Donna Partridge arranged for the cake and the friends, one of these is a DJ. The DJ kept the music and dancing going for hours and was a real group bonus. The finely crafted cake had a picture of Dunham on it. This is done on editable rice paper and then transferred to the cake.

The incredible food was generously sponsored by Steve of the Victoria Albert Pub and it just kept relentlessly coming. First it was the wonderfully prepared Brochette followed by mounds of wings with potatoes wedge and when we thought it was over, came the delicious pepper plates, the salads and we thought it was done, but no. The pork and chicken breast meat trays came along. Absolutely, stupendously incredible! But that is Steve... I can hardly wait until next season to do it again.
