Don was honored by fellow members at the spring 2006 Tam Heather AGM meeting and presented with the life membership and the life-member's clock award.
At the time of presentation, Don had 24 years of dedicated and unfailing service to the Toronto Sons of Beaches and in this time held Executive Office positions as Treasurer and Secretary. In the early days Don was a frequent player on the annual Florida team.
There are now 7 life members in the Toronto Sons of Beaches ball club. There would have been 8, but one of our beloved founding members, Bren Maxwell passed from us on November of 2003. For more detail on the above recipients see "Members ID".
