Handlebar Hank Speaks

Hi.  My name is Handlebar Hank (the image on the left). You saw me on the way in.  I was not the first, but I have enjoyed the benefits of “Sons of Beaches” membership since 1979.

I am now a registered copyrighted Trademark of the Toronto "Sons of Beaches®" Ball Club, but originally Bill Lafave ripped me off from the early Toronto Maple Leafs stadium.  I don't know if they ever noticed I was gone.  However, I do keep busy in my new home of 25 years strong working with the guys. (Here is a picture of me from my youth.)

You will find me on your Tournament maps guiding you to our Club’s central lodgings, meeting places, game location with start times and emphasising other pertinent events information, such as a phone number to call if lost.  Hank doesn’t like it when a Son gets lost, either at a ball game or in life.

I am the symbol to look for on much of our literature, including our free CD and the website.  Look me up on our activities calendar and review events like our free practice games,  tournaments,  golf events and other fun social events.

Also, I am giving away free no charge downloads from our website and the SoB promotional CD. You can download Score Sheets,  Maps, Game tips, team Rosters and others. Should you or your buddies need any of these items, they are there all the time.  If you would like to see something added to that download page, hit our suggestion box  for a quick chat – (on the Contact Us menu).

We have a large International family with registered trade names, headquarters in Toronto Canada and in Florida’s Treasure Is area, USA. Visit our photo page to see pictures of the boys happily playing softball against our Florida members and at Florida tournaments.

If you come to the Florida November games you will see me there along with a host of new friends for you to meet and enjoy.  It is much more than softball! When you see me, you see family and we invite you to join in – I am timeless and the family head.
